Children’s Book Discussion Group
3rd Wednesday of the month, 4-5pm
Do you have a book you can’t stop talking about? Join us for a book group where you read what you want, and then share what’s so great (or maybe not so great) about it with others! Aimed at children in grades 4-8. For more information, contact the Children’s Room: 207-892-1908.
The Children’s Room occasionally holds a Bedtime Math series of events for school-age children. Bedtime Math is a program whose aim is to “help kids love numbers so they can handle the math in real life.” Measuring, jumping, building, racing, creating… you never know what you’ll be doing in one of these fun programs! To find out if there is a Bedtime Math program scheduled in the near future, contact the Children’s Room.
The Maine Student Book Award (MSBA) is a statewide program designed for students in grades 4-8. To get in on the action, sign-up in the Children’s Room.
