The annual Friends of the Windham Public Library Book and Bake Sale is a popular event.  The proceeds go to the Friends of WPL, and consequently benefit the library (as mentioned above). Although still going by the traditional title of “Book Sale”, folks may also find movies, audiobooks, and music on hand.  All ages and most genres are represented, and the Book Sale coordinator has everything organized to make browsing easy.  The “Bake Sale” items are an assortment of homemade goodies, baked and donated by local volunteers.  A special “Friday night preview” fundraiser is held every year as well: for $10 per person entering the door, folks get first peek-and-purchase of the Book Sale items.  The Saturday sale is always free for anyone to attend. The sales take place in the library.  See the library calendar for the dates.
